It has been a long wait to play Roma, with Vincenzo Montella getting to play against his old side and a match that I have been waiting for even if they look better than us. This is a huge test for Mr.Montella as we need every point that we can get if we want to stay close to Roma in the table; a win for us would be what we need. We are lucky since Roma’s top goal scorer, Pablo Daniel Osvaldo is out due to an injury. He has 7 goals this season and Roma also just loan out their other good forward Marco Borriello.

Leaving forwards like captain Francesco Totti who can be the best player on the field or not be able to have any impact on the game, some other forwards are Stefano Okaka, Bojan Krkic, and some young forwards making it look like we are playing Roma and they don’t look 100% dangerous, but we all know what Totti can do from set prices. Their midfield is what makes me worry with Erik Lamela, Fernando Gago, Daniele De Rossi with 2 goals and Miralem Pjanic with 5 assists this season. It looks to be there strong side to this Roma team. Their ackline looks strong and will make Catania work for everything.

Catania will be the home side and will need the fans to help boost the team. The Catania forward are lacking heart and will need somebody to go all out for the club try to test Roma keeper. I pick Gonzalo Bergessio to lead the attack, while David Suazo is finally ready to play again after be out for so long a wasting some much time, he better play and have a good game but Montella with not even pick him. Campagnolo will most likely play, I don’t think he is good but Catania think because he has played in other 200 Serie A games, he is the man for the job.

If I was coaching this would be my formation:

Maxi Lopez-LF Gonzalo Bergessio-ST David Suazo-RF

Gomez-cam

Sergio Almiron-LDM Francesco Lodi-RDM

Ciro Capuano,Nicola Legrottaglie,Nicolás Spolli,Giuseppe Bellusci

Kosicky-GK

These Catania players have to step it up:

Maxi Lopez
Gomez
Pablo Barrientos
Lodi
Gonzalo Bergessio
Campagnolo

The last time we played them in Catania we did beat them 2-1 but its a new year and new teams. Lets see how it goes, good luck AS Roma and may the best team win.
